BTS 8th FESTA celebration.
To celebrate 8 years together with BTS and ARMY, we'll be volunteering as a group for the National Tree Planting Day event being run by North Harbour estate on Sunday, 10 October 2021!
There will be 1,000 trees waiting to be planted on the day, so the more ARMY we can gather, the more hands we'll have to help make the Caboolture River a beautiful and sustainable area for future generations to enjoy!
North Harbour will also be providing a FREE sausage sizzle, coffee cart, farm animal experience and entertainment from 101.5 FM as a thank you to all of the volunteers!
Stay after the tree planting and relax at our ARMY picnic in Heritage Park - this is a free/unticketed event, so please BYO seating/mat, snacks, drinks and/or a plate to share with the group! There are also BBQ facilities on-site if you wish to use them.
Please scroll down and read to the bottom of this page before heading to the RSVP and registering your details using the buttons below!
General RSVP will close at 5pm on Friday 8 October 2021

Why tree planting is important
for our environment
Our group meet-up point will be at the
BBQ area in the Heritage Park Precinct (see arrow on the map below).
The planting site is about a 15-20 minute walk towards the river from the park, so please keep this in mind and wear sensible shoes/boots!
Access from the end of
Moreton Bay Boulevard, Burpengary East
e.g. if you decide to organise your own carpool with friends!
1. Take Exit 146 Uhlmann Road from the Bruce Highway (M1)
2. Continue along Buckley Road until you reach the main intersection (Sales Centre and
Display Village will be to your right), then turn left onto Fraser Drive
3. Go straight through the first roundabout (the road will turn into Moreton Bay Boulevard)
4. Go straight through the second roundabout, and follow until you reach the end of Moreton Bay Boulevard
5. Continue past the black steel gates and follow the neat gravel road, then turn right at the end of the gravel road to reach the park! Hint: Best speed for the gravel is around 30km
There are two free designated parking areas available (it's essentially an open field, so should be lots of room)
We'll bring some BTS merch to flag our ARMY meet-up point (and will be wearing the FESTA group t-shirts), so please come find us in one of the covered BBQ areas to be checked-in by Cami!
ETA It takes about 45 mins - 1 hour to drive there from Brisbane City, so make sure you pack some road snacks or bring a tea/coffee with you for the trip! There's a BP on the highway before the exit, and a little block of shops (IGA, bakery, etc), down the road from North Harbour, if you need to stock up on anything before arriving at the park.
Caboolture or Morayfield Station
Unfortunately there are no buses direct to North Harbour yet, as it's still a very new estate!
You can use the Translink Journey planner to work out the best route to travel from your home by train to either Caboolture or Morayfield station. From both Brisbane City and the Sunshine Coast, it's about an hour trip by train.
We recommend that you arrive there by 8.30am, so you have time to get to the park before the event starts at 9:00am!
From Morayfield Station, you'll need to catch a rideshare or taxi to Heritage Park on the other side of the highway (approximately 8-10 minutes away by car and 3-4 people can share).
From Caboolture Station, you'll need to catch a rideshare or taxi to Heritage Park on the other side of the highway (approximately 4-5 minutes away by car and 3-4 people can share).
If enough volunteer drivers are available, we'll try and add Caboolture and Morayfield Stations as carpool pick-up locations - please register as a carpool passenger in your RSVP if you'd like to apply for this option (instructions below - limited seats available)!
get it, let it roll
